Music for the little ones! The workshop for babies and parents focuses on the gentle discovery of sounds and the perception of vibrations. Listen to the sound of the sea with the Ocean Drum from New Zealand, playfully improve coordination and sing together. A first experience for parents and babies with Benedetta Amelio from Vivace Vienna.

Benedetta Amelio
Benedetta Amelio, Italian mother of three children, has lived in Vienna since 2014. She studied musicology, singing and composition in Milan and is currently completing her doctorate on Neapolitan opera from around 1700. Her passion for music was instilled in her from an early age. She recorded her first songs at the age of ten and began taking singing lessons at 16, both for modern music and opera. During her studies, Benedetta worked as a singer for private events and with children. As she could not find a suitable music course for her children in Vienna, she decided to offer her own courses in spring 2022. In March 2022, she started a basic course of music for children in Italian and in October 2022 she started "Musica, maestro!" at the Italian Cultural Institute Società Dante Alighieri and the Italian kindergarten "Girasole".
In January 2023, Benedetta founded Amelio GmbH to expand the range of courses on offer. This was followed in April 2023 by "Spazio mamma-baby" (now "Crescendo"), a series of meetings for mothers and babies with a musical focus. In summer 2023, it offered excursions and workshops in Italian and German, and in September of the same year, it launched the "Tempo, bitte!" music course for children in German.
